Making a connection between tea drinking and the understanding of Buddhadharma, Master Chi Chern described the particular Chan retreat during which he had profound experience as a well brewed pot of tea. Calling himself a "tea monk", Master Chi Chern once commented, "If the tea is truly good, one doesn't have to worry that it is plain and light in flavour." A good tea will always leave an endless and timeless taste...
